Failing nclex in 85 questions

Mar 28, 2009. I took my NCLEX-PN last Thursday, and I think the computer shut off at around 110. I had an abundance of anxiety after I took the test. I was very sad, because my gut told me that I failed. That night, I looked in my Saunders NCLEX practice book, and I realized I got a lot wrong. The anxiety lasted for about two days.

I’m not going to lie, I thought I was failing Nclex. I got so many random medication questions that I didn’t know how to answer. Like off the wall, out of left field uncommon drugs patient teaching. I talked to a friend after who said Mark Klimek says if you are getting random pharm questions that’s a good sign!BUT, the NCLEX does cut off at the minimum of 85 under two circumstances-either the test-taker has answered at least 95% of the questions correctly or 95% of the questions incorrectly... It truly helped me, but I still ended up failing my 2nd attempt. So after that I purchased the $40 Archer Qbank. Then I read my Saunders book again + did Archer.
