I first heard of cold spring tavern after being bombarded on Instagram about it and touting its amazing tri-tip sandwich. First of all, the restaurant is located off of highway 154 in Santa Barbara. To get there, you have to drive your car up a small winding road and park on the side of the very narrow street.

On any given Sunday you can visit Cold Spring Tavern for a delicious barbecue tri tip sandwich and maybe a beer. We did just that this past weekend. The tri tip truly did not disappoint. What I had forgotten about were the onion rings! Both are amazing! Love the old timey atmosphere and the music. Fun!
